Shooter Jennings for those Missing Summer!

Shooter Jennings hasn't been active musically in country music in awhile, but he has been producing other artists like Julie Roberts who is coming out with a new album soon! She has had hits in the past like  Break Down Here . Check out Shooter's song below, "4th of July!"

Ben Haggard soulfully sings, "Where No One Stand Alone"

Ben Haggard is the youngest son of the late, Mere Haggard. He was the lead guitar player for his father's band up until Merle's death in 2016. Ben has yet to release an album, but everyone here at Country Maga, hope Ben continues the resistance against pop country, and brings back some real music. Trace Adkins is back on the FM airwaves...well I haven't heard him on the radio yet, but he does have a new song out and you can watch the video below.  Trace Adkins has any hits from the 90s and can be identified by his baritone voice and his long ponytail. He has had hits like, "Every Light In The House Is On," Honkytonk Badonkadonk," and "No Thinking Thing." It is good to have you back Trace!

Willie has been in and out of the hospital during the beginning of this year but is still out and performing like he has been for decades. Willie just has a passion for music and when you love doing something you don't stop. 

Justin Townes Earle And A New Generation Of Music

Justin Townes Earle is the son of Rockabilly legend, Steve Earle. Justin, like his father, struggled with drug addiction at a young age but is touring and making great music and as you can tell from the video below, he is a great songwriter and performer. Justin has seven albums released and his currently working on number eight.

R.I.P. Chuck Berry

The St. Charles County Police Department confirmed today that Rock & Roll Legend, Chuck Berry, has died.  "St. Charles County police responded to a medical emergency on Buckner Road at approximately 12:40 p.m. today (Saturday, March 18)," from a St. Charles County Police Department Facebook post. "Inside the home, first responders observed an unresponsive man and immediately administered lifesaving techniques. Unfortunately, the 90-year-old man could not be revived and was pronounced deceased at 1:26 p.m."  Chuck Berry's career began with his hit song in 1955, "Maybellene." Soon other songs followed like his signature sound of "Johnny B. Goode," "Rock and Roll Music," and "Roll Over, Beethoven." Watch the video below and watch Mr. Berry play that guitar one last time!
